Skills & craft

  • World-class verbal and visual communication, across exisiting & emerging channels.
  • Masterful in multiple design methods and tools, actively inventing and testing new ones.
  • Able to plan and execute validation for the most complex, highest-risk design initiatives.

Problem solving

  • Project where design is heading in the future, and how it applies to us.
  • Investigate emerging media to understand their design potential.

Impact on the company

  • Shape design vision for the entire company, with its leadership.
  • World-class level of design across all touch points in the entire portfolio.
  • Promoting our design expertise internally and externally.

Communication

  • Talk in outcomes, but clearly state design outputs required to achieve them.
  • Solicit feedback in a structured manner, e.g. design critique sessions.
  • Can handle co-ordination with outsourced contributors in their field.

Collaboration

  • Hands-on design consulting for founders and company leadership.
  • Tag-teaming with other top experts at Flaviar on hardest projects.

Ownership

  • Briefing, shaping and execution of most complex, highest-risk design initiatives.
  • Introduction of cutting-edge methods and tools in design.
