Skills & craft

  • Fully owns a core marketing territory (e.g., CRM, SEO, Facebook, Google, Experiential, Etc) with deep expertise in at least 1 area and mid-level expertise in a second.
  • Can develop multichannel marketing campaigns from scratch; can tie insight to action.
  • Can manage agencies and external partners effectively.

Problem solving

  • Able to identify and propose resourcing problems, gaps, solutions that support narrow to medium business verticals and functions.

Impact on the company

  • Ensures smooth operation and continuous improvement in areas of speciality while contributing to growth strategy at a divisional level.

Communication

  • Gives clear, action-oriented direction.
  • Conducts effective performance reviews with some manager support. 

Collaboration

  • Works across the function within the B2C or B2B division to align resourcing over short and medium-term projects. 

Ownership

  • Can fully own medium-duration projects that have demonstrable impact on the business.
  • Fully owns critical short-term projects

People Management

  • Can manage up to 3 direct reports in areas of expertise.
